💕 Romance Guide

Heart events trigger at 2/4/6/8/9/10 hearts. Only marriage candidates have events.

💡 8-heart event: choose Romance or Best Friends. Both paths are valid — no penalty for friendship.

• Unlocks after the 8-heart event Romantic path — you can then invite the candidate on a date.
• Timing: dates can only be invited on Saturday or Sunday.
• Frequency: limited to one date per person per week.
• Multi-dating is allowed — if you are dating several people at once, you can take one out on Saturday and another on Sunday.
• You can date more than one person, but you can only marry one.

💡 Dating significantly boosts hearts — taking your dating partner out on Saturday is the fastest way to reach 10 hearts. Kissing is available across dating, engaged, and married statuses.

Reach 10 hearts, see all heart events, and be officially Dating. Elsie then visits the farm and delivers the Engagement Ring recipe (unlocking the Forge crafting). The recipe also requires progressing the main story / mines — complete the "The Dragonsworn Tablet" Story Quest, and push the mines to level 100 to unlock the extra recipes at the level 90 Dragon Forge.

💡 Cannot be bought — it must be crafted. The materials require access to the deepest parts of the mines, so players who ignore mining to focus on friendship will get stuck.

Exchange vows and light candles to symbolize the union. The whole town attends the ceremony, then everyone moves to the Inn for a meal and toasts. Afterward the spouse moves into your farm immediately.

• After proposing, pick a wedding date within the next 10 days on the calendar.
• Talk to your fiancé(e) on at least 3 different days before the wedding to progressively unlock the three choices: wedding flower color, cake flavor, and feast menu.
• Townsfolk will react to your engagement with excited dialogue (an immersion detail).

💡 If you pick the earliest wedding date, talk to your fiancé(e) every single day beforehand so you don't miss a preparation choice — players have reported missing the feast menu selection.

• Spouse moves into the farm and syncs their routine — they wake with you, with a wake-up kiss prompt.
• The day after the wedding, Elsie sends a letter with 3 pieces of furniture from the spouse's old room; placed, the spouse interacts with them.
• You can kiss anytime — across dating, engaged, and married statuses.
• New post-marriage dialogue and NPC routines are added (1.0 patch notes).
• Seasonal wedding sprites, plus a spouse hold-baby alternate sprite (e.g. Juniper holding baby Rune).

Each spouse gives a unique item at proposal. You can collect all 12 by proposing to each, then choosing.

• LGBTQA+: any gender combination can romance and marry.
• Dating multiple people at once is allowed — toggle before engagement to keep multi-dating going.
• After marriage, other candidates you were dating automatically become Best Friends rather than romantic partners.
• Best Friends route: any candidate can be taken down a pure friendship line (choose Best Friends at 8 hearts) with no penalty and still has heart events.
• Low jealousy: raising friendship with others continues unaffected.
