• Reach 8 hearts with a romanceable candidate.
• Watch the 8-heart event and choose the Romantic path (not the Friendly path).
• After the Romantic 8-heart event, the "Dating" status unlocks — you can now invite the candidate on a date.
• Invite them on a Saturday or Sunday by talking to them and selecting the date option.

• Dates can only be invited on Saturday or Sunday.
• Each person can be taken on one date per week.
• Multi-dating is allowed — you can date multiple candidates simultaneously.
• You can date more than one person, but you can only propose to one.
• After marriage, other candidates you were dating automatically become Best Friends.
• Kissing is available once dating (and continues through engaged and married statuses).

💡 Saturday is the most popular date day — plan ahead and have your Date Inspiration Items ready.

Fields of Mistria has multiple date types that you unlock with Date Inspiration Items. Each new date type awards a Photo Card the first time you complete it.

💡 Bath Soap is the most expensive date item at 100,000t — save up early if you want the Bathhouse Date with your preferred candidate.

• Multi-dating (dating multiple people at the same time) is fully allowed in Fields of Mistria.
• You can take one date on Saturday and a different person on Sunday.
• Multi-dating does not trigger jealousy — NPCs do not confront you about seeing other people.
• However, you can only propose (Engagement Ring) to one person. After marriage, other dating partners become Best Friends.
• If you want to keep multi-dating going for heart points, do not engage until you are ready to choose.

• Fields of Mistria has NO jealousy mechanic — NPCs will not get upset if you date multiple people.
• There is no confrontation scene, no heart loss, and no dialogue penalty for multi-dating.
• The only constraint is the Engagement Ring: you can only propose once, and marriage ends all other dating relationships (converting them to Best Friends).

• Dating is the fastest way to 10 hearts — Saturday/Sunday dates give significant heart point boosts.
• Buy Bath Soap early if you want the Bathhouse Date — it costs 100,000t from Wheedle but is a one-time purchase.
• Date Inspiration Items unlock additional date types and Photo Cards — check vendor stalls and activity rewards.
