๐บ๏ธ Map & Locations Guide
The world of Fields of Mistria is divided into 9 distinct overworld zones connected by multiple paths. This guide covers every area โ from your farm to the ancient Western Ruins โ with key locations, unlock conditions, and how each zone connects to the others.
Overview: The 9 Zones of Fields of Mistria
Fields of Mistria's world is made up of 9 distinct overworld zones, each with its own purpose, NPCs, and unlock conditions. Your farm is the home base, Mistria Town is the social and commercial hub, and the remaining 7 zones spread out in all directions โ each gated by story progression, quests, or terrain. Understanding how the zones connect is the single biggest shortcut to saving time: you can plan a day's route that chains mining, shopping, foraging, and fishing without backtracking across the map.
- Player's Farm โ home base, Caldarus' Statue, river fishing
- Mistria Town โ central hub, 13+ buildings and most NPCs
- Eastern Road โ Carpenter's Shop, Wishing Well, dig spots
- Deep Woods โ unlocked via Fire Seal + Dragon's Breath, exclusive forageables
- The Narrows โ Mines entrance, Museum, Errol's Cabin
- The Summit โ unlocked via Beautification Project quest, stamina fountain
- Western Ruins โ dig sites, Dragon Priestess Shrine, Plum Blossom Trees
- Sweetwater Farm โ Hayden's Shop, Chicken Statue
- The Beach โ Tackle Shop, Lighthouse, dive spots, hidden islands
Player's Farm
Your farm is the home base and the zone you return to most. It contains Caldarus' Statue (the shrine that lets you spend Essence on skill perks for all skills except Mining and Combat), a river that serves as a year-round fishing spot, your farmhouse with a usable kitchen, shipping bin, animal barns and coops, and the teleportation point that anchors the Teleportation Chalice's return destination. The farm is always accessible and is the default fast-travel target.

- River fishing โ accessible year-round from the farm
- Farmhouse kitchen โ cook meals for energy and gifting
- Shipping Bin โ sell items and animal products

๐ก Your farm's river is one of the most convenient fishing spots in the game โ use it for quick Fishing XP when you don't need a specific fish.
Mistria Town
Mistria Town is the social, commercial, and quest hub of the game. It contains 13+ buildings and most of the game's named NPCs. The Request Board is the primary quest source, the General Store and Blacksmith cover everyday supplies, and the Inn provides a kitchen, beds, and socializing space. The town is the busiest zone in terms of NPC schedules โ most characters have routines that bring them here during business hours, even if they live elsewhere.

|---|---|---|
| Manor House | Residence of the town's leading family | Home to several romance candidates |
| General Store | Buy seeds, basic supplies, and tools | Sells seasonal seeds and crafting materials |

| Blacksmith | Upgrade tools and buy ore-related items | Tool upgrades require ore and Tesserae |
| Bathhouse | Restore stamina and relax | Free stamina recovery |

Eastern Road
Eastern Road is the eastern corridor out of Mistria Town. It contains the Carpenter's Shop (where you buy building upgrades and furniture), a Wishing Well for luck-boosting, dig spots for mining resources, and a pond that serves as a fishing location. The road is also the gateway to the Deep Woods โ though the entrance is initially blocked and requires story progression to open.
- Carpenter's Shop โ buy building upgrades, furniture, and house expansions
- Wishing Well โ toss in items for luck bonuses and wishes
- Dig Spots โ mine Stone and other resources with your pickaxe
- Pond Fishing โ calm water fishing spot with different fish than the river
- Deep Woods Entrance โ initially blocked; unlock via story quest
Deep Woods
The Deep Woods is a secluded, lush zone north of Eastern Road that is initially blocked by a rock barrier. Unlocking it requires breaking the Fire Seal in the Mines and casting the Dragon's Breath spell. Once open, the Deep Woods becomes one of the most valuable foraging zones in the game, producing exclusive mushrooms, herbs, and rare materials that don't grow anywhere else. It also contains a teleport point for fast travel.
- Unlock requirement: break the Fire Seal (Mines Floor 60) + cast Dragon's Breath
- Exclusive forageables โ mushrooms, herbs, and rare plants found nowhere else
- Teleport Point โ anchor for fast travel from anywhere
- Peaceful atmosphere โ no enemies, pure foraging and exploration
๐ก The Deep Woods teleport point is one of the most useful fast-travel anchors in the game โ unlock it as soon as you can to save trips back through Eastern Road.
The Narrows
The Narrows is the western corridor out of Mistria Town and the gateway to the Mines. It is a rocky, canyon-like zone that contains the Mines entrance, the Museum (for donating artifacts, Perfect items, and fish), Errol's Cabin, and a decorative Horse Statue. The Narrows is also the hub that connects to Western Ruins (west), The Summit (north, after quest), and Sweetwater Farm (south).

- Museum โ donate artifacts, Perfect items, and fish for rewards and completion
- Errol's Cabin โ Errol's residence
- Horse Statue โ decorative landmark for donations
- Connects to: Mistria Town (east), Western Ruins (west), Summit (north), Sweetwater (south)
The Summit
The Summit is a high-altitude zone north of The Narrows, unlocked by completing the 'Beautification Project' quest. It features a stamina fountain that provides free recovery, scenic views, and exclusive foraging spots. The Summit is relatively compact but offers a peaceful retreat and useful stamina management for extended mining sessions in The Narrows below.
- Unlock: complete the 'Beautification Project' quest
- Stamina Fountain โ free stamina recovery, no cost
- Foraging โ seasonal plants and flowers
- Scenic overlook โ one of the highest points in the game world
๐ก Pair a Summit visit with a mining session: recover stamina at the fountain before heading down to the Mines.
Western Ruins
Western Ruins is a mysterious zone west of The Narrows, filled with ancient stonework and archaeological dig sites. It contains the Dragon Priestess Shrine (tied to the endgame questline) and Plum Blossom Trees that bloom with seasonal beauty. Sweetwater Farm
Sweetwater Farm is the western neighbor of your own farm, owned by Hayden. It is the location of Hayden's Shop, where you buy animal feed, ranching supplies, and adopt new animals. The zone also contains a decorative Chicken Statue for donations. Sweetwater Farm connects south to The Beach and north to The Narrows, making it a useful waypoint between mining and coastal activities.

The Beach is the premier fishing zone and a key source of coral, shells, and deep-sea fish.

Route Planning Tips
Efficient route planning is the biggest non-combat time saver in Fields of Mistria. The zones form a connected graph, and understanding the adjacency lets you chain activities without wasting stamina walking back and forth. Here are the most effective daily loops:
- Mining loop: Farm โ Mistria โ Narrows (Mines) โ Narrows (Summit for stamina) โ back through Narrows โ Farm
- Shopping loop: Farm โ Mistria (General Store, Blacksmith, Request Board) โ Eastern Road (Carpenter) โ Farm
- Fishing loop: Farm (river) โ Beach (Tackle Shop + dive spots) โ Sweetwater โ Farm
- Foraging loop: Farm โ Eastern Road โ Deep Woods (teleport back) โ Summit โ Farm
- Museum completion: Farm โ Narrows (Museum) โ Western Ruins (dig spots) โ Beach (shells/coral) โ Farm
๐ก Always carry food that restores stamina โ the Stamina Fountain on the Summit and the Bathhouse in town are free, but running out between zones wastes half your day.
